Welcome ACBHOF Class of 2026!

It’s hard to believe we’re here already, but The Hall has now welcomed its sophomore class of Inductees -and what a class it is!  The names should be familiar to anyone and everyone who’s been paying attention to the American craft beer scene for the past quarter century.

Before we get to the stars of this show, a bit about the Induction ceremony that took place on Saturday, February 28th.  As before, it was livestreamed globally in collaboration with Craft Beer Professionals.  (If you weren’t able to catch the livestream, you can still view the recording on CBP’s YouTube channel)

There were four official Watch Parties held at breweries across the country; those locations included Dogfish Head (Rehoboth Beach, DE), Round Trip Brg. (Atlanta, GA), Hailstorm Brg. (Tinley Park, IL), and Breakside Brewery (Milwaukie, OR).

At just over 13 minutes, the ceremony was fairly brief, but this was due to a couple of factors -not the least of which was that the Board of Directors learned some lessons from the first year’s ceremony.  Rather than attempt to livestream from five different locations across the U.S. –which brought some unforeseen challenges and the inevitable flubs—this time around we pre-recorded the entire presentation, resulting in a smooth and seamless event. 

The second factor is pretty straightforward; because there were fewer nominees on this year’s ballot, the obvious result was fewer inductees for ’26.  So, without further abrew, here are the eight new entries into The Hall:

·         Sam Calagione

·         Teri Fahrendorf

·         Kim Jordan

·         Garrett Oliver

·         Pete Slosberg

·         Carol Stoudt
